Mr Kipling Cake Review

Cost?

Mr Kipling angel cakes are slightly on the pricier side, as a pack of small singular cakes will cost you around $6. Which is the same price as a full size cake you can buy from Woolworths and Coles. There aren't any options for another pre-made angel cake, ao if you want a full size cake you’ll have to find online recipes.

Quality?

The cakes themselves are individually packaged making them easy for a snack to put in your kids lunches or for work if you need a little sweet snack to get you through the day. The downside of these cakes being individually packaged is that it uses a lot of plastic which isn’t good for the environment and should think of alternatives solutions to reduce plastic waste, with the packaging the product is secure and won’t get damaged.

Texture?

The cake itself is soft and spongy making the cake soft when you consume it. The icing on the top is somewhat dry but it is really flavorful making the cake extremely delicious.

Taste?

The soft spongy cake has such an amazing sweet flavour, the sweetness of the sponge cake is settled, the cream sandwiched between the colourful cakes is necessary as it brings all that sweet flavour together. The frosting up the top is a little stiff but once you have a bite of this cake it melts in your mouth and as the cake is small that it’s a perfect size for how deliciously sweet it is. Even though the cake is a bit on the pricier side I really recommend it as the cake is so delicious and you can take it anywhere for a little treat.

This delicious cake is what everyone needs for a little sugar fix the price and the waste of plastic is the only downfall but the texture and taste makes up for it so 100% recommended.
